My wife...Have I gone through a similar experience? My wife has many times! On a romantic date, my eyes light up when I hear the waiter is speaking Somali or Arabic--and my wife sees it. On our first anniversary, we went to a fancy French restaurant in the Colorado Rockies. The waiter and I chatted in French for some time while my wife patiently look out the window.
