11 Forms

  1. I know that Proz.com proposed a standard for the exchange of profile data for translators and interpreters (http://www.proz.com/tpxinfo/). The basic concept is to have a single form that
would be acceptable to all agencies and which they might process according to their needs.

I think it is a brilliant idea but, as far as I know, it is not yet used by agencies.

  2. I like your cartoons, and would like to post their links on my blog.

Thank you for making us (bored translators) smile!

  5. Only 8 pages? I once got a questionnare of TWENTY (yes, 20) pages, PLUS 35 pages of instructions... for a 10-page job! Sorry, Alejandro, but reality exceeds fiction. But thanks for the laugh.

  6. Marise, Suyash, Karen and Liana, welcome to the blog and thank you very much for your kind words.

Ramón, TWENTY? The truth is that I thought about "twenty pages" when I drawed it, but it seemed just too much. I agree: reality exceeds fiction.
