So true. I hate it when they say I should charge less because I live in a poor country. Many products are actually more expensive here than in Manhattan.

This is true. I have to fight every day against clients saying that my rates are too high because of the crise or because they can find someone from another coutry working for less money.
Tell them to hire those and say take a hike when they come back. They do come back after experiencing cheap horrid ones.
