  4. The thing is that Mox looks happy and I do too. I love being a freelance translator!

  5. But some other days your friends are working and you're on "holidays" . And, of course, you have to tell them so that they see how wonderful being a freelance is (sometimes xD) :]

  7. That last panel is me.

I often relate how sad one of my clients must be because I once got a job request from him at 2am on January 1st.

But perhaps it's sadder that I was checking my business e-mail just about when his e-mail came in...

  9. Yeah! Working here in Argentina too. But even when I would like to have this day off like everybody else, sometimes it's so hard to be a freelance translator (out of work) that I won't complain :)

  10. Hahaha, "to celebrate it I will translate for a few hours"...

    Brilliant.

  11. How did I spend my Labor Day holiday (in Uruguay)? Glued to my PC, of course (working, not websurfing)...and getting requests at 5 pm with a next-day 10 am deadline. Delights of freelancing...

  12. Yes but why does he have a turtle/tortoise on his desk??

  13. The turtle is just an allegorical metaphor for "the easy and calm way" to do things in life (as i.e. translating). Remember, these reptiles live up to 200 years... Regards from Germany (still celebrating May 1st = Labor Day)

  15. Yes, I know the feeling! Still, I am now making sure that even if I don't get weekly breaks, I always have daily breaks!
