    This John Smith also keeps emailing me. I often reply to him. e.g. "Please look for a real job", or "I forwared this to the Interpol". I wonder how much money this kind of scammers make.

    I just set up a rule on my gmail account. If the content of the received message contains "Western Union", reply with an email with a link to this cartoon and then move to spam.

    Doesn't work for those of us who translate texts that contain the words Western Union. Or who occasionally use the service.
