Mox is a young but well educated translator. Two PhDs, six languages...
and he hardly earns the minimum wage.
"I get it NOW" not "know"!
Heh. Very familiar discussion in my house.
hahahahahahaAt least I married another translator, so we "speak" the same language... ;-)
Sometimes, I'm in the same situation, with friends or family. :)
Excellent !Maybe Google Translate could be of some help to maintain an open dialog in this couple, don't you think so ? ;-D
Oh Mox... you really get me!
My partner doesn't bother to ask, he doesn't listen to me any longer. I understand why :)MonoPolish, from what I've seen in past cartoons, Crados is the most expensive and crappiest CAT tool in Mox's parallel universe.
Well, I recognize myself here... but in my case it's much, much worse, because on top of that I also have a degree in computer sciences. Sometimes I wonder what "gets through" to my wife, who doesn't speak any languages and has never touched a computer... :>)
Yes, in the evening when I'm sharing my experiences from Trad Oline with my husband, I am exactly on the same situation, nice to explain him tough a little bit of what we do on the translation sector...^^
Crados means dirty in dodgy French...was it on purpose?
It's good to be in an industry where we all feel at home! Being in an office with fellow language geeks certainly helps with this feeling.
